My submission for Clip Studio Paint's 24th International Illustration Contest with the theme Skies, Space & Stars. I was going for something with a dream-like feeling to it and what's best for an astronaut having an unexpected encounter with a school of glowing alien fish? I tried to depict her excitement of the unknown she just discovered and the moment she is eagerly reaching to touch and play with them.
